Zucchini Turkey Burgers

These burgers give your regular turkey burger a lot more juice and a little more veggie. It's a great way to prevent you turkey burgers from coming out dry and to ensure they will be a crowd pleasing experience for all. 

Ingredients:

  • 6 oz grated zucchini (when squeezed it's about a half a cup) 

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 1/4 cup seasoned breadcrumbs

  • 2 cloves garlic, grated

  • 1.5 tbsp grated white onion

  • 1 tsp salt / pepper 

  • oil spray 

Directions:

  1. Squeeze ALL the moisture from the zucchini with paper towels.

  2. In a large bowl, combine raw ground turkey, zucchini, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion, salt and pepper.

  3. Make 5 equal patties

  4. Heat a large nonstick skillet on high heat. When hot, lightly spray oil. Add burgers to the pan and reduce the heat to low. Cook on one side until browned, then flip. Flip over a few times to prevent burning and to make sure the burgers are cooked all the way through.
